There is no need to tell what school you go to or where you and your friends hang out. Keep your personal information - personal and safe!
Screen Name Advice.
Do not use your real name in your screen name. Again if you include too many clues as to your identity others may use it for unpleasant purposes.
Keep your Password to yourself.
Giving out your password is like giving out the key to your locker. Do you want everyone to go in and rummage around? No. Keep this information private.
Read Rules and Privacy options for all websites.
When you properly read the terms and conditions of each site you are on you will know how to best protect your information. All sites on the internet are different and you must be active in taking care of your information and who sees it.
Only share stuff that you don't mind people seeing.
No.Any one can use the internet and lots of people do! Everyone from your parents to the people you don't know who live in the next city! If you don't want people knowing then don't put it on the internet!

Viruses aren't just those things you catch at school. Download materials are full of viruses and it is best not to download if you are unsure of the place of origin!
